Syed Irteza Hussain, MD is the Department Chair in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Dr. Hussain is a Consultant Neurologist with 17 years of experience. After completing his medical degree from the prestigious Aga Khan University he underwent extensive post graduate training in the US. He is American Board certified in Neurology, Vascular neurology, Neurocritical Care and Neuroendovascular surgery. Upon completion of his post graduate training he joined Michigan State University as assistant professor in 2009. There he helped establish a 24/7 Neurointerventional surgery service and fellowship training program. In addition to his procedures he had an integral role in the management of acute stroke and critically ill neurological patients in the hospital. Subsequently in 2011 he assumed the Medical Directorship of the stroke program at Michigan State University and its affiliate Sparrow Health system. In this administrative role he supervised multiple successful Joint Commission recertifications of the primary stroke center and subsequently became the first in Michigan to become a JC certified Comprehensive stroke center. Recognizing his services he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2014 and awarded the Physician Leader of the year award in 2015 by his institutions. He joined Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in 2016 as staff physician in the Neurological Institute.
 
Beatrice Benedetti MD

Beatrice Benedetti, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Dr. Benedetti received her medical degree from the renowned Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan (Italy). She completed her residency in Neurology at the same University, focusing on patients with Multiple Sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases. She gave a significant contribution to research in the MRI field, working in prestigious neuroimaging laboratories in Milan (Italy), Oxford (UK), and New York (USA). Dr. Benedetti resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband and her two children. She enjoys travelling with her family, art, scuba diving and snowboarding.

 
Eugene Achi MD

Jamil R. Dibu MD

Dr. Dibu received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, then earned his medical degree from the American University, Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Neurology at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, Arkansas, US. Dr. Dibu is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with additional specialty certification in Neurocritical care. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Neurology, Neurocritical Care Society and the American Heart Association. His specialty interests include management of subarachnoid hemorrhage, acute ischemic stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, coma, severe meningitis and encephalitis, management of status epilepticus and intracranial hypertension. Dr. Dibu has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters on Neurocritical Care topics, with a focus on primary and secondary hemorrhagic strokes. Dr. Dibu resides in Abu Dhabi. He has avid interest in competing in long distance triathlon races.

 
Najwa Al-Bustani MD

Najwa Al Bustani, MD, FRCPC, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Her specialties are in General Neurology, and Neuromuscular Medicine. In addition, she is certified from the Canadian Society in Clinical Neurphysiology (CSCN) Diplomat (EMG) as well the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Neurology.

 
Preeti Devnani MD

Dr. Devnani received her medical degree from Mumbai University in India. She completed her Neurology residency at Loyola University Medical Centre, Maywood, Illinois, USA. She then pursued Clinical Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine fellowships. Dr. Devnani returned to India and joined the prestigious Jaslok Hospital and Research Center in Mumbai. Dr. Devnani was instrumental in establishing a visiting sleep fellowship program. She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and an active member of the Asian Sleep Research Society. She has been, and continues to be a vocal advocate to increase Sleep awareness in the community on a national level by conducting sleep disorder screening camps, forums and epidemiological surveys. She is an avid writer for several magazine/newspaper publications on sleep and its importance. Dr. Devnani resides in Abu Dhabi with her family. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with friends.
 
Ranjith Menon MD

Ranjith K. Menon, MD is a Staff Physician in the Neurology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Dr. Menon received his medical degree from Riga Stradin’s Medical University in Riga, Latvia, and completed his residency in internal medicine from Wales, UK. He undertook his junior neurology training at Radcliff Infirmary, University of Oxford, Bart’s and the London NHS Trust and completed his neurology residency from the Walton Neuroscience Centre NHS Foundation Trust, UK. He did his postgraduate research degree MD (Res) from University of London and his Stroke Neurology Fellowship from the University of Toronto. Dr. Menon resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and children.

 
Seby John MD

Dr. Seby John is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Dr. John completed his medical school at the acclaimed St. John’s Medical College. Subsequently, he completed extensive training in Neurology and Vascular Neurology at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio with board certification in both from the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. He then underwent additional training in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology, also at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. John has extensive experience in the medical and interventional management of cerebrovascular diseases. He is an active researcher and has been an investigator in numerous international cerebrovascular clinical trials. He has to his credit, more than 50 peer reviewed publications and book chapters in the field of stroke and neurointerventional surgery. He has also co-edited the Third Edition of “Ultimate Review for the Neurology Boards”

 
Shivam Om Mittal MD

Dr. Mittal received his medical degree from Datta Meghe University of Medical Sciences University in Wardha, India. He completed his neurology residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He did postdoctoral fellowship in botulinum toxin treatment at the prestigious Yale University, where he initiated several clinical studies and streamlined unique treatment options for movement disorders. To pursue his interest further in the field of clinical movement disorders he completed a fellowship in parkinson’s disease and movement disorders at the Renowned Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, USA. Dr. Mittal lives in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two sons. He enjoys cycling, listening to music and spending time with his family.

 
Victoria Ann Mifsud MD
